Do I get a QR code for my shop?
Yes — every registered shop gets a unique QR code automatically. Open Admin › QR Code to preview, print, or download a PNG. Stick it at your door, counter, or station so walk-ins can scan and book without calling. It's included on all plans at no extra cost.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no lock-in contracts. You can cancel or downgrade from your admin dashboard at any time. If you cancel, your booking page stays active until the end of your current billing period.
I already use Square / Fresha / Timely. Why switch?
Most booking tools stop at the calendar. EazyBook adds an AI receptionist that fields enquiries 24/7, plus SMS reminders and online booking around the clock. Smart rebooking and AI marketing campaigns are on the roadmap — if your current tool already does all of that, you might not need us.
How do clients book? Do they need to download an app?
No app required. Every shop gets a branded booking page (e.g. eazybook.com.au/your-shop). Clients open the link in any browser, pick a service and time, and they're done. You can also embed the widget on your existing website.
How do I get my existing clients onto EazyBook?
You don't have to wait for clients to find your booking page themselves. The quickest way is to create their first booking from your dashboard — they'll get a confirmation and see how the system works straight away. From there, share your booking link or open Admin › QR Code to download your shop QR — print it for your counter, door, or station. Every registered shop gets a QR code automatically. Once a client has booked once they'll appear in your client list and receive automatic reminders for future appointments.
Is my data safe?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell customer data to third parties. Client contact details are yours — you can export them at any time from the admin dashboard.
How long does setup take?
Most shops go live in about 5 minutes with default services and hours — add your shop name, confirm the schedule, and share your booking link or QR code. Refining services, themes, and team takes longer if you want, but you can start taking bookings straight away.
Can EazyBook help me set up my services?
Yes. Inside your shop settings there's an AI setup assistant — just tell it your business type (e.g. "barbershop in Melbourne" or "nail salon, mainly gel and acrylics") and it suggests a full service menu with realistic Australian prices and durations. One click adds the whole list. You can edit, rename, or remove any service afterwards.
Can I list a price as "starting from" instead of a fixed amount?
Yes. When editing a service, tick the "Show as 'from $'" option. The price will display as "from $X" on your booking page — useful for services like colour treatments, extensions, or consultations where the final cost depends on hair length, complexity, or other factors. Clients see the minimum upfront, and you can discuss the final price at the appointment.
My services are partly covered by Medicare or health funds. How do I show that?
Add the rebate information directly to your service description when setting up or editing a service. For example: "Initial consultation — A$120 (Medicare rebate of ~A$39.10 applies with a valid referral)." Clients see this before they book, so there are no surprises at checkout. If you bulk-bill or accept health fund claims on the day, note that too — it reassures price-sensitive clients and reduces post-booking questions.
Is there a waitlist when I'm fully booked?
Yes — enable the waitlist in **Admin › Settings**. When a day has no open slots, customers can leave their name and phone number. If a cancellation opens a spot, EazyBook automatically texts the first person on the list with a link back to your booking page. Manage entries from **Admin › Waitlist**.

Everything else listed on our plans — online booking, SMS reminders, AI chat on your booking page, QR codes, and the live queue dashboard — is available today.
Can my booking page appear on Google Maps?
Yes. Once your shop is live, copy your booking page URL and paste it into the "Website" field of your Google Business Profile. Customers searching for you on Google or Maps will see a direct link to book — no extra app or plugin needed.
How much do SMS reminders help with no-shows?
Shops using automated SMS confirmations and day-before reminders typically see fewer no-shows — often a meaningful drop within the first few weeks. Results vary by business type, reminder timing, and whether you require a card on file. Late cancellation protection (card capture) has the biggest impact when enabled.
